In 2018, I began teaching as a full-time lecturer in the Department of English at Seton Hall University, where I completed a M.A. and taught from 2009 - 2011. I earned a M.F.A. in creative nonfiction writing from Old Dominion University, where I taught writing from 2011 through 2016. Prior to teaching full-time, I spent much of my career working for engineering and environmental firms in marketing and technical writing.
My debut collection of essays, Have Some Faith in Loneliness & Other Essays, is due to be published in 2019. My nonfiction is published in numerous magazines and newspapers, including the Guernica, storySouth, The San Diego-Tribune, The Virginian-Pilot, and Switchback. I also manage an independent literary journal, Green Briar Review.
