M.S. Physics Application Information
The application deadlines for the M.S. in Physics program are as follows:
- Fall Semester: July 1st
- Spring Semester: November 1st
General Admission Requirements
Applicants must submit the following materials (please note that an application will not be reviewed until all required materials have been submitted):
- Completed Graduate Application with Fee
- Personal Statement
- Three Letters of Recommendation
- GRE General Exam Scores (maybe waived according to academic record of candidate, please contact the Director of Graduate Studies to request a waiver)
Admission Requirements for International Applicants
In addition to the general admission requirements for the M.S. in Physics program, international applicants must submit the following additional materials:
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) scores.
How to Apply
You can start a graduate application through the University's main graduate studies webpage.
The personal statement and résumé can be uploaded directly onto the online application. Letters of recommendation are also received electronically. The application will ask you for the names and email addresses of your references. Once submitted, your references will receive an emailed request for the recommendation that they will then submit back to the university electronically. Official transcripts must be sent by the issuing institution either via an approved electronic delivery service or in a sealed envelope sent to the following address:
