Christopher Lucas, member of the Buccino Leadership Institute's Business Cohort and Jackie Robinson Scholar was invited to ring the renowned bell in the New York Stock Exchange building, in tribute to Jackie Robinson's Centennial. There Christopher presented a Seton Hall challenge token to Della Baeza, the CEO of the Jackie Robinson Foundation as a token of honor and appreciation for keeping alive Jackie Robinson's legacy as not only a baseball player, but as a philanthropist and a community leader.
When asked how he felt being there, Christopher said "being able to participate in such a prestigious event while representing the Seton Hall and Buccino Leadership Institute was incredible. Not to mention as a finance major, being on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange, was a huge motivation because this is where the pinnacle of one's career is, and this is where I see myself in the future." As a student who represents the characteristics of Jackie Robinson, the Buccino Leadership Institute congratulates Christopher's accomplishments and recognizes his embodiment of the pillar of character. Good luck to Christopher Lucas in all his future endeavors.
