Admissions: Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing
Formal admission to graduate studies is necessary to enter the CEAS program. Applicants must submit the following materials:
- One copy of all official transcripts conferring completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree program in an appropriate field from an accredited college or university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; Seton Hall University offers a special program to make up for an unsatisfactory GPA
- 15 to 30 credits are required for secondary specialty areas; 60 liberal arts credits required for K-5 teachers
- A GRE score in the top 33% range or a passing score on the Praxis Academic Core Battery Exam
- A passing score on the appropriate Praxis II exam(s)
- A resume
- A personal statement of goals
- A structured interview
