Stillman School of Business Rises in U.S. News Ranking

Stillman School of Business Student Seton Hall Means Business

The Stillman School of Business undergraduate program ranked at 106 in the nation in the U.S. News & World Report metric, up 10 places from last year. In total, U.S. News measured 514 business programs across the United States for its ranking, with Stillman placing in the Top 20 percent of all schools.

The ranking for undergraduate business programs from U.S. News is based on "Peer Review” from leading business academics throughout the country.

Notably, the Stillman School's Business Center of the Buccino Leadership Institute was named the nation's No. 1 leadership program of its kind five years in a row by and the school itself is among the select programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) – the highest standard of achievement for business schools, which is earned by only 5 percent of schools worldwide granting business degrees at the bachelor's level or higher. In addition, Stillman is the only school in northern New Jersey with both business and accounting accreditation – making it one of only 188 institutions worldwide to hold an additional, specialized AACSB Accreditation.

"Seton Hall's Stillman School of Business, located a short distance from the heart of the nation's financial capital, provides an environment that propels both graduate and undergraduate students into leadership ranks in a wide range of business, corporate, and nonprofit careers," noted School of Business Dean Joyce Strawser. "We are pleased to see the continued recognition of Stillman's prominence through these latest rankings.”

Earlier this year in its graduate school rankings, U.S. News placed the Stillman part-time M.B.A. program at 73rd in the nation, rising 12 spots from last year and placing the program in the Top 75 in the United States. In addition, the on-campus MBA program was once again included in The Princeton Review's list of "Best Business Schools." The Princeton Review editors agree that the Stillman MBA program is one of the best and is a key factor in the School's strong reputation.
